La Semilla Indigo Candlestick (Tall or Short) Handmade in Mexico - Mexican Candle Holder or Flower Vase

**Please note that there are spots on the candle sticks where the glaze did not cover some of the nooks and crannies, so the bare red clay shows through.  I personally love the look, but some people may see it as a defect.  You can see some of these spots in the photos so please look carefully.  I'm selling these below what I paid for them and I know that someone out there will love them as much as I do!

La Semilla candlestick, aka 'seed' candle holder handmade by artisans in Mexico. Can also be used as a vase.

The technique used here is called Pastillaje, a labor intensive decorative technique of ancient Indian origin used throughout Mexico to embellish natural clay pottery pieces.

100% natural red clay glazed with a deep, indigo/midnight blue colored glaze. It almost looks black, but when the light hits it, you'll see the indigo.

Short measures 5.5 inches tall by 4 inches wide. The diameter for the candle is 7/8 of an inch

Tall measures 9 inches tall by 4 inches wide. The diameter for the candle is about 1 inch
