Burnt Clay Mezcal Face Cups | Mezcal Copitas | Clay Shot Glasses | Tequila Shooters | Espresso Cups | Handmade in Oaxaca, Mexico
$48.00 USD
These artisan mezcal copitas are made from natural, local clays that have been gathered by hand in Santa Maria Atzompa, Oaxaca, Mexico famous for their barro negro (aka black clay)
Perfect for sipping mezcal or tequila (and even espresso) these shot glasses will make a stunning addition to your home or bar
The earthy, pewter tone of these mezcal cups is achieved by the technique in which the pieces are fired, what’s known as burning the clay. Each piece is finished with a light interior glaze, while the exterior remains unglazed to highlight the natural colors and textures of the clay.
Beautifully handmade, each clay cup will vary slightly in size, color and shape. Each one holds around 2 ounces and measures approximately 1.5” inches tall with a diameter of 2”
By purchasing this item, you are helping artisan communities in and around Oaxaca to be able to continue making a living through their craft.
Product of Mexico | Lead-free | Hand washing recommended
